Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Experience inspecting, maintaining and repairing industrial mechanical equipment is valuable.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans and maintenance documentation.
• Knowledge of welding, fabrication, piping and general maintenance practices.
• Experience operating machine tools and maintenance-related equipment safely.
• Ability to operate forklifts, aerial scissor lifts and boom lifts.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair mechanical production equipment to support safe and reliable operations.
• Plan and complete maintenance activities while minimizing disruption to production.
• Install, assemble, lubricate and adjust equipment to maintain efficient performance.
• Interpret drawings and technical sketches to determine materials, tools and repair methods.
• Carry out minor fabrication, welding, pipework and equipment modification activities as required .
• Maintain operating records and support the upkeep of plant utilities and facility equipment.
