Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Reliability Engineer for Mechanical Systems to uphold the health of critical cooling systems across our global facilities. The role involves testing, maintenance planning, and technical support, with liaison to Design Engineering and Operations teams.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and 2–3 years in critical facility operations. Hybrid work modeled at the Santa Clara campus with travel as needed and a competitive benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in critical facility operations and maintenance.
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Validate new/updated mechanical systems through facility acceptance testing and startup reviews.
• Design and implement maintenance programs to improve operability and reduce life-cycle costs.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering and Construction teams to ensure reliability of new installations.
• Perform risk analyses, root-cause failure analysis and corrective actions.
• Provide technical support to Facility Operators and train staff as needed.
• Analyze asset utilization and overall equipment efficiency for performance improvements.
• Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.
