Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Systems Operator (MSO) to support our government customer on Oahu, Hawai`i. The role emphasizes operating and monitoring plant and HVAC systems, with responsibilities spanning switching operations and troubleshooting alarms to ensure reliable facility performance.

Ideal candidates will bring extensive experience with chilled water distribution and SCADA/EMCS, plus a U.S. citizenship and active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of plant systems and critical mechanical infrastructure systems to support multi-building campuses.
• Works independently
• Expertise in manual and virtual switching operations
• Experience troubleshooting alarms, undesired equipment, conditions, and completing corrective actions.
• Ten (10) years performing work on mechanical HVAC Controls or chilled water distribution systems
• Two (2) years of experience in monitoring and controlling major facilities mechanical systems including chillers, air handlers, pumps motos, and SCADA/ EMCS

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is looking for a Mechanical Systems Operator (MSO) to provide support for our government customer in Oahu, Hawai’i.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Working knowledge of plant systems and critical mechanical infrastructure systems to support multi-building campuses.
• Works independently

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Active Top Secret/ SCI with Polygraph

COMPENSATION DETAILS:

• $60.00 per hour
• The compensation range or hourly rate provided is a good faith estimate at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, internal equity, market conditions, and applicable laws.
