Job summary

Ridgecrest Ventures LLC is hiring a Mechanical Systems Engineer to design and develop mechanical systems for a variety of furnace projects. You will work on cooling and combustion piping, controls, and power systems, with collaboration across engineering teams.

The role requires a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and 5–15 years of related experience, including P&ID creation, piping design, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems expertise. Occasional travel and safety-focused design work are expected.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–15 years in a mechanical systems/industrial automation role.
• Experience designing mechanical systems for furnaces or similar industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems for greenfield and brownfield furnace projects.
• Create piping, control, and power layouts, including piping and instrumentation diagrams.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines and prepare BOMs, manuals, and maintenance docs.
