Dynamic Manufacturing in Hillside, IL seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineering Lead to oversee Mechanical Engineering and Design teams, directing tooling, fixtures, gauges, and automated test systems on complex automation programs.

You will drive standards, roadmaps, and supplier collaboration, applying Lean methods and advanced CAD/FEA to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions across manufacturing and testing environments.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 5+ years leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Manufacturing/automotive background.
• Hands-on with industrial robotics, motion control, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated test equipment.
• Lean methods experience: SMED, Kaizen, 5S, Kanban.

Responsabilidades

Step Into a Day Leading Mechanical InnovationPicture your morning: you walk the production floor, talk with operators about a new gauge concept, and review prototype results from yesterday’s automated test cell. By midday, you’re in CAD, checking a 3D model and 2D drawings for a servo-driven fixture and confirming FEA, tolerance studies, and GD&T before release. In the afternoon, you huddle with Controls, Software Controls, and Instrumentation Engineering to finalize an integrated motion, hydraulics, and pneumatics solution.
