Job summary

FLSmidth is seeking a production equipment operator in the United States (Arizona, Tucson) to perform start-up and operation of mining equipment and to carry out critical checks before and during operation. The role emphasizes safety and reliability in the production process, with focus on maintaining throughput and quality standards.

• Carries out advanced checks using checklist, prior to starting equipment and for running equipment
• Responsible for the start-up and operation of equipment (e.g. crusher) machines used in production processes
• Determines and corrects machine malfunctions of high complexity
• Oversees clearing of hopper blockages as per the safety procedures
• Ensures throughput and quality standards are achieved
• Liaises with key stakeholders in the event of any production stoppages
• Promotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company’s operational activities
