Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
• +1 year of professional experience in mechanical design and analysis with hands-on project work on complex systems.
• Preferred: Master's degree in mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes and machinery from first principles with a mechanical focus.
• Drive supplier development from concept to high-volume production.
• Collaborate with design, materials, and manufacturing engineers to understand mechanics and sub-system design intent.
• Lead DOE to develop supplier production processes for high-rate, high-yield parts.
• Review supplier DFM, process flow, in-line metrology, and PPAP/FAI reports.
