Job summary

Power Design, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent in Florida to lead field teams in delivering HVAC and plumbing projects on time and to high quality and safety standards.

You will coordinate with customers, inspectors and other trades, manage crews and materials, and ensure compliance with mechanical codes on multimillion-dollar projects. The ideal candidate has 10+ years as a field supervisor, an active HVAC or plumbing license, OSHA 30 preferred, and strong English communication

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• 10+ years as field supervisor on multimillion-dollar construction projects.
• Active Mechanical (HVAC) or Plumbing license.
• Knowledge of the National Building Code and local codes.
• Strong English reading/writing and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train field project team to deliver projects on time and with high quality and safety.
• Plan, organize and direct production of contracted scope of work.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, inspectors and other trades.
• Coordinate production with other trades and the general contractor to resolve conflicts and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure installations meet quality and mechanical code standards.
• Manage materials and personnel to meet the project schedule.
• Adhere to Power Design’s standards of quality, safety and best practices.
