Location: National Travel ( Rotational Schedule )
Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000
Renewyx is representing a globally established EPC contractor that is actively scaling its project delivery team across the United States. This organisation brings deep international experience in the delivery of large-scale renewable energy infrastructure and is now executing a strong and growing pipeline of utility-scale solar and BESS developments across the US. They operate with a structured, well-resourced delivery model and offer experienced field leaders a high-impact environment where their expertise directly drives project outcomes.
They are seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to join their construction team on a national, project-based basis, first project in NM. In this senior field leadership role, you will supervise and direct mechanical crews and subcontractors across active utility-scale solar and BESS sites, overseeing the structural and mechanical execution of solar arrays including racking systems, tracker installations, and module placement. You will enforce OSHA compliance, validate subcontractor work plans and method statements, coordinate material deliveries and equipment allocation, lead daily tailboard meetings and look-ahead planning sessions, and provide daily progress reporting to the Construction Manager and General Superintendent.
A minimum of 5 years of field supervisory experience on utility-scale solar, wind, or BESS projects is a firm requirement, specifically within the mechanical or structural discipline. This organisation needs proven mechanical field leaders who understand large-scale tracker and racking systems and can manage high-volume crew operations on live sites. Candidates without direct utility-scale mechanical supervision experience are unlikely to be the right fit.
This is a compelling opportunity for a road-ready mechanical superintendent who wants to work on large, high-profile renewable energy projects with a well-capitalised global contractor that is building something significant in the US market.
