Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking a Mechanic Specialist to maintain and repair mechanical equipment at the Bear Creek Storage facility near Ruston, LA. This role focuses on compressors, reciprocating and turbine engines, and related equipment, with duties guided by safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance of reciprocating/centrifugal compressor units, turbines, natural gas compressors, and related equipment.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain mechanical equipment and/or auxiliary equipment.
• Perform heavy mechanical maintenance and replacement of reciprocating and turbine engines and compressors.
• This position reports to a Crew Leader to ensure consistency in maintenance practices and detailed computer documentation.
• Identify, report, and assist in correcting safety and environmental concerns.
• Complete appropriate documentation and paperwork timely and accurately.
• Perform all work in compliance with company standards, procedures, and regulatory and tariff requirements.
• Demonstrate performance toward operational excellence.
