Our commitment to sustainability and cutting-edge technology offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of transportation. We value innovation and collaboration, and we provide a supportive work environment where your ideas can thrive.

As a Mechanical Systems Simulation Engineer, you will work on cutting-edge battery and robotic systems for mass production. Our ideal candidate loves solving challenging problems for real-world applications. You will work in close collaboration with mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, thermal, and test engineers towards the design and development of the next battery modules and charging/swapping systems.

What You'll Do:

  • Multi-body system modeling for modal, static, transient, fatigue, explicit, crash simulation
  • Hyper-elastic material, sheet metal modeling for explicit, crash, and crush simulation
  • Provide static and transient structural safety assessment and design improvement guidance
  • Conduct durability evaluations based on modal, vibration, impact, and fatigue
  • Evaluate safety under crash and crush events (LS-Dyna, explicit simulation)
  • Help guide experimental validation and testing from simulation results
  • Electrical modeling of battery packs/modules/cells (ECM, ROM, MSMD) is a plus (not mandatory)
  • Thermal modeling of battery packs/modules/cells (Cooling/Heating, Air/Liquid/PCM) is a plus (not mandatory)

What You'll Bring:

Minimum of 3 years industrial or academic work experience with structural, durability, or crash simulations

  • Strong technical and theoretical background in structure, material, fatigue, crash
  • Master's degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, physics, chemistry, or electrical engineering; PhD preferred
