Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Senior Designer for our Charlottesville office to contribute to design of high-performance HVAC systems.

You will translate concepts into detailed system designs, collaborate with engineers and project partners, and ensure designs meet code and client expectations. This role requires an associate degree in HVAC or architectural design, 5+ years of HVAC design experience, and proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.

Expertise of our most successful Mechanical Senior Designer:

• Associates Degree in HVAC or Architectural Design or equivalent experience required.
• 5+years of experience in HVAC design.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD required.
• Understanding of applicable design codes and specification requirements.
