Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking a Seal Specialist to transform your technical knowledge into measurable customer value. You will generate seal proposals, presentations, and sales contracts while supporting the outside seals team with mechanical seals.

You will assist customers in improving equipment reliability and MTBR, communicate delivery dates, and identify opportunities to expand product base within each account.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical seals, pumps, and support systems.
• Basic computer proficiency with Word/Excel for documentation and reporting.
• Knowledge of the issues affecting distribution, manufacturing, and supply chain management.
• Technical sales experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in improving equipment reliability and increasing MTBR (Mean Time Between Failures) of sealed equipment.
• Communicate expected delivery dates and expedite orders as necessary.
• Identify opportunities to expand product base within every customer account.
• Review customer operations for improving business process opportunities.
• Continuously update all customers on company product capabilities, services, and enhancements.
• Liaise between the company, vendors, and customers for up-to-date information on pricing, service, and other issues.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with company and industry safety regulations.
