Job summary

Valmet Paper is seeking a Mechanical Product Manager to apply roll services knowledge and Valmet’s broader technology offerings to deliver tailored customer solutions within the roll covering and maintenance technology unit.

The role involves significant external customer interaction and internal collaboration to define specifications and scopes, with regional responsibilities in the North and travel as needed for training and projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or five years related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good understanding of paper machinery and roll related products and technologies.
• Travel is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver project plans, review technical specifications and drawings, and provide technical support to customers and sales teams.
• Assist with troubleshooting roll service items and contributing to quotes and modernization pricing.
• Generate drawings, graphs, simulations, and specifications; support engineers and inspectors; learn Valmet drawing systems.
