Collins Aerospace is looking to hire a Repair Technician responsible for Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul of aviation components in accordance with specified requirements.
The individual is also required to maintain professionalism while working in close cooperation with supervision, engineering and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve problems related to repairs, overhaul, test or quality.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate prior experience working with aircraft power control systems, preferably within a FAA Part 145 MRO environment.
2nd Shift 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm; Monday to Friday. Training will take place on 1st Shift before the permanent move to 2nd Shift.
You Must Have Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Working knowledge of technical sheets, work instructions, or blueprints. Meet FAR 65.71(a)(2) (be able to read, speak and understand the English language, or in the case of an applicant who does not meet this requirement and who is employed outside of the United States by a U.S air carrier, have his certificate endorsed "Valid only outside the United States.", FAR 145.155 (b) (a certified repair station must ensure its inspector understand, read and write English.)
