Job summary

Nippon Sanso Matheson is seeking an ASU Mechanical Reliability Trainer to develop, execute, and manage comprehensive training for mechanical technicians and reliability personnel across the Bulk Operations organization. This role ensures competency progression and serves as the SME for mechanical condition monitoring within the ASU fleet.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on mechanical maintenance experience in heavy industrial environments such as ASU, Petrochemical, Refining, or Power Generation
• 7+ years experience performing or supporting mechanical condition monitoring programs (vibration analysis, thermography, lubrication analysis, alignment/balancing)
• 5+ years experience developing or delivering technical training

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and deliver mechanical training curricula covering rotating equipment, static equipment, compressors, pumps, cryogenic machinery, and ASU systems
• Maintain progression schedules and track competency milestones for technicians
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to support employee growth
• Collaborate with operations and reliability leadership to align progression with business needs
• Support troubleshooting, root cause analyses, and reliability improvement initiatives
