Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a Mechanical Reliability Technician to safeguard uptime on specialized cable production equipment. The role combines hands-on mechanical repair with basic electrical support to keep lines running safely and efficiently.

You will conduct preventive maintenance on gearboxes, drives, and rotating machinery, perform troubleshooting, and calibrate equipment to spec. A strong maintenance mindset and adherence to 5S are essential for this high‑accuracy shop.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system experience in industrial settings.
• Ability to diagnose vibration, wear, and recurring failures to identify root causes.
• Strong self-direction, detail-oriented, and able to set priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Walk the floor to verify equipment condition and schedule preventive maintenance tasks.
• Perform PM/PdM on gearboxes, drives, pneumatics, rotating machinery, and power transmission components.
• Respond to mechanical breakdowns: align drive assemblies, replace bearings, belts, and bushings, service hydraulics.
• Calibrate and fine-tune cable equipment for precise tension control and line throughput.
• Support basic electrical troubleshooting and general shop maintenance as needed.
• Uphold shop safety and 5S standards, keep guards and interlocks audit-ready.

Keep the Lines Moving: Mechanical Reliability TechnicianStep into a specialized cable shop where precision and uptime matter. As the Mechanical Reliability Technician, you are the steward of mechanical integrity across production equipment—keeping cable manufacturing lines operating safely, consistently, and to spec.
