Job summary

INEOS Pigments in Ashtabula, OH, seeks an experienced Maintenance Engineer to oversee mechanical and rotating equipment maintenance. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, preventive and predictive maintenance, and root-cause analysis to prevent failures and ensure safe, reliable operations.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in industrial maintenance, with API codes knowledge and experience using CMMS (SAP) and MS Office. A HS diploma is required, with an engineering associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; associates degree in engineering preferred.
• Experience with mechanical industrial maintenance as journeyman mechanic, millwright, machinist, or field service technician.
• Minimum 10 years in maintenance of mechanical and rotating systems in industrial manufacturing.
• Knowledge of API codes; Process Safety Management and ISO systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, systems, or operational problems.
• Install, troubleshoot, inspect, and repair industrial mechanical and rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, rotary blowers).
• Apply predictive maintenance techniques (vibration, infrared, oil analysis).
• Perform precision alignment of rotating equipment using lasers or dial indicators.
• Capture and document relevant information in auditable, organized formats.
