Job summary

Abbott Park, IL-based Mechanical Reliability Engineer role onsite to optimize asset reliability across manufacturing equipment and plant assets. You will lead preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs, perform root cause analyses, and drive data-driven decisions to maximize uptime while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related discipline required.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering and/or operational experience.
• Strong problem solving, data analysis, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and reliability initiatives to improve asset performance.
• Coordinate plant shutdowns and capital projects.
• Develop and implement PM/PdM and RCFA programs.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and vendors to ensure safety and compliance.
