Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Mechanical Quality Inspector on the 1st shift at our Wendell, NC facility. You will perform in-process inspection on assembly lines, review specifications and drawings, and support production with timely quality feedback.

The role requires 1+ year in production and inspection, experience with torque wrenches, and ability to read schematics. We offer a 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM shift and pay rate of $22.46 per hour with comprehensive safety and training.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of prior work experience with production & inspection.
  • 1+ years of experience working with Torque wrenches and torque verifications.
  • Strong Analytical skills to perform point to point or sequence of operation checks.
  • Experience working with various types of inspection tools and have knowledge product drawings.
  • Must have the ability to read and work with schematic drawings/layouts/wire lists, to include circuit troubleshooting, and basic computer skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

We are looking for a Mechanical Quality Inspector to join our team on the 1st shift. This position will be based at our Wendell, NC facility.

The Mechanical Quality Inspector position is responsible for performing the in-process inspection duties on our products, this is an in-process inspection position on the assembly lines.

Shift Hours: 6:00AM- 2:30PM
Hourly Rate: $22.46
You’ll make an impact by:
  • Perform in-process inspection mechanical duties.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 1+ year of prior work experience with production & inspection.
  • 1+ years of experience working with Torque wrenches and torque verifications.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school / GED
  • Experience working with SAP, Salesforce and SieOps.
  • Advanced knowledge working with 3D models and engineering drawings.
  • Conform with Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policy and Management System and strive to continual improve the intended outcomes of the Management System.

The pay range for this position is 22.46 per hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
