Job Description

• Prepare inquiries and obtain quotes for vendor-supplied items in compliance with requisitions and specifications.
• Receive and evaluate vendor bids, considering price, delivery, and past performance.
• Negotiate and place purchase orders, including change orders.
• Expedite purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Handle third-party rental contracts, renewals, and terminations, maintaining related files.
• Coordinate invoice issues, delivery requirements, and quality standards with vendors, managers, and relevant departments.
• Prepare documentation for purchase orders.
• Establish and maintain vendor relationships, meeting with sales and vendor reps as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Management, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Accounting, or related field, with 5+ years of construction material procurement experience.
• Advanced knowledge of procurement, vendor inspection, accounting, financial management, and contract law.
• Detail-oriented, organized, capable of prioritizing and meeting deadlines, adaptable to various work environments.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
