Job summary

Johnson Health Tech Companies in Wisconsin seeks a hands-on Mechanical Project Test Engineer to lead testing efforts in our New Product Development team, evaluating risk and root causes to prevent failures. You will design and execute test plans, create fixtures, analyze data, and collaborate with design and production teams to drive robust, manufacturable solutions throughout the product life cycle.

A BS in Mechanical Engineering and at least 1 year of mechanical engineering experience are

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
• Minimum 1 year of mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience with fitness products is a plus.
• Strong FEA and DFMEA skills.
• Proficiency with fixtures, test setups and data acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Lead New Product Development testing to mitigate risks and failures.
• Develop test plans and execute to validate designs.
• Create and test fixtures and set-ups; analyze data.
• Support production transition with functional requirements for mass production.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing and QA on root-cause analysis and solutions.
