Job summary

Faith Technologies seeks a Project Management Intern to work with our mechanical division on assigned projects, enhancing industry knowledge and career progression. The intern should be proficient with a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, and be enrolled in a related Bachelor's program.

The role involves planning, site visits, reviewing estimates, vendor coordination, and attending several project and staff meetings. Typical schedule is 7 AM–5 PM, Monday–Friday, with 15–20% travel.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited program for a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• No prior work experience required; coursework or internships are advantageous.
• Travel up to 15-20% as part of the internship.
• Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 7 AM–5 PM with potential flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, organizing, and staffing electrical or specialty systems construction projects.
• Visit jobsites and interact with crew, customers, foremen, and general contractors.
• Review portions of estimates with Estimating to ensure accuracy.
• Contact vendors to obtain materials for construction projects.
• Attend weekly and monthly meetings (Staffing, PM, Sales, etc.).
• Process miscellaneous paperwork.

The Project Management Intern is responsible for working closely with Project Management within our mechanical division on assigned projects so as to enhance the Intern's industry knowledge and career progression with the Company. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Enrolled in an accredited institution and actively working toward a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering
• Experience: No previous work experience is required. However, relevant coursework, academic projects, or prior internships related to construction or project management will be advantageous.
• Travel: 15-20%
• Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. Ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists with the planning, organizing, and staffing of electrical and/or specialty systems construction projects.
• Visits various jobsites and interacts with crew, customers, foreman, and general contractors.
• Reviews assigned portions of assigned outgoing estimates with Estimating Department to ensure accuracy.
• Contacts vendors to obtain materials for construction projects.
• Attends weekly and monthly meetings (i.e., Staffing Meeting, Project Manager Meeting, Sales Meeting, etc.).
• Processes miscellaneous paperwork.
