Job summary

Eagle Mechanical, a Satterfield & Pontikes company, is seeking an experienced mechanical project manager in Corpus Christi to own projects from pre-con through warranty closeout. You will be accountable for the financial result on major commercial projects in the greater Houston area, coordinating with the S&P PSP team.

Responsibilities include P&L ownership, buyout execution, BIM coordination, RFI/CO management, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with top-tier client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in commercial/industrial mechanical construction with PM responsibility on HVAC, plumbing, or process piping.

Responsibilities

• Own the project P&L from buyout through closeout and report monthly.
• Lead the Pre-Con → Operations handoff and validate estimates, scope, and unit rates.
• Execute buyout for specified divisions and manage subcontractor/equipment purchases.
• Manage equipment procurement and CPM-driven sequencing.
• Drive BIM coordination with S&P VDC and resolve clashes.
• Direct the Superintendent on manpower planning and look-ahead scheduling.
• Prepare and submit monthly pay apps and control subcontractor invoices.
• Maintain project records to enable smooth PM handover.
• Oversee startup, testing, balancing, and commissioning activities.
• Deliver closeout documentation and warranty packages.
• Maintain customer satisfaction above 95%.
