Quest Personnel seeks a Mechanical Project Manager / Senior Project Manager in Virginia to manage mechanical projects from preconstruction to closeout. You will own budgets, scope, and schedules and serve as the primary contact for general contractors, owners, and subcontractors across commercial and industrial builds.

The role supports projects ranging from HVAC systems to process piping and plumbing, with responsibilities spanning the full lifecycle.

Competenze

• 4+ years of project management experience in mechanical construction.
• 15+ years of experience in mechanical construction, including project management.
• Experience managing commercial or industrial mechanical builds (HVAC, piping, plumbing).
• Proven track record on budgets, schedules, subcontractors and client relationships.
• Comfortable managing projects across the full lifecycle.

Mechanical Project Manager / Senior Project Manager | Commercial & Industrial | Virginia

We are partnering with a well-established, full-service mechanical contractor delivering mechanical systems for commercial, industrial, medical and institutional clients across Virginia. The business is built on long-term relationships with general contractors, end users, subcontractors and its own people.

The company brings design, installation, service and fabrication under one roof, including in-house prefabrication. Project managers get exposure to the full lifecycle of a mechanical project, not just one slice of it.

The role

You will manage mechanical projects across the full project lifecycle, from preconstruction and award through procurement, installation, commissioning and closeout. You will own budget, scope and schedule, and act as the main point of contact for general contractors, owners and subcontractors. The role is open at Project Manager and Senior Project Manager level, with work on either commercial or industrial builds.

Candidate requirements

Project Manager

• 4+ years of project management experience in mechanical construction

• Background managing commercial or industrial mechanical builds, such as HVAC systems, process piping, commercial plumbing or similar scope
• Proven track record managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors and client relationships
• Comfortable working across the full project lifecycle
