Job summary

Gutridge is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead HVAC projects in the central Ohio market. You will oversee planning, execution, and closeout, coordinating with internal teams and clients to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, strong scheduling and budgeting skills, and a proven ability to lead project teams while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or seven years related experience and/or training, or equivalent.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial HVAC projects, including scheduling, budgeting, change orders, and cost control.
• Oversee manpower planning to optimize productivity and maintain project timelines.
• Ensure profit margins are met or exceeded through effective project oversight.
• Lead project planning, coordination, and execution with internal teams and clients.
• Foster strong client relationships by providing responsive service and addressing concerns.

As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of projects.

What Will You Be Earning?

• Pay: $115,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year.
• Compensation is determined by our hiring managers and is based on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, and the specific demands of the role.

Requirements

What Do We Want To See?

• Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs and Project Management software.
