Jobot is seeking Mechanical Project Managers in Texas to lead data center projects. This role offers a travel package and the chance to work with a leading MEP and building systems contractor known for engineering excellence.

You will manage budgets, contracts, and schedules, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with safety standards. A 4-year engineering degree and at least five years of PM experience are required.

Qualificações

• 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ project management in mechanical/construction.
• OSHA-30 certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle, including conception, design, procurement, scheduling, execution, and delivery.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all activities align with financial objectives and constraints.
• Negotiate and manage contracts and change orders, ensuring optimal pricing and terms.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining open communication channels and managing expectations effectively.
• Ensure all project activities adhere to corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, and regulations.
• Use advanced MS Office skills and other software systems to track project progress, maintain records, and generate reports.
• Manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies and solutions as necessary.
• Maintain a professional, courteous, and diplomatic demeanor in stressful situations, demonstrating strong conflict resolution skills.

Ideal Candidate

• A 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Science, or equivalent levels of technical training and related experience.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management, with a focus on mechanical engineering and construction.
• Expertise in procurement, scheduling, change order pricing, and contract negotiation.
• A thorough understanding of construction design, finance, and management.
• An OSHA-30 certification.
• Proficiency in MS Office and the ability/drive to learn new software systems.
• Experience in managing commercial projects and budgets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain professionalism in stressful situations.
