Job summary

Moore's Electrical & Mechanical is hiring a Project Manager to lead project teams across commercial and industrial services in Virginia and neighboring regions. You will oversee field crews, enforce safety rules, and drive efficient performance from initiation through completion.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to manage schedules, costs, and change orders while coordinating with subcontractors and tools/equipment to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Tools & Equipment to ensure adequate tools.
• Manage all subcontractors and ensure safe job sites.
• Perform project estimations and related duties.

The Role
We're hiring Project Managers who command quality, safety, and efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Manage and be responsible for project team's work including the field Foreman. This includes productivity of field forces and enforcement of work rules.
• Creation, monitoring, and updating of project schedule
• Creation, monitoring, and updating of cost breakdown
• Price, negotiate and process change orders. Maintain change order log.
• Coordinate with Tools & Equipment to ensure jobs have adequate tools and equipment
• Manage all subcontractors
• Ensure job sites are being kept safe
• Estimation of projects
• Perform other duties when asked

You Bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong leadership skills accompanied by strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage time and resources
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Team mentality
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft products
• Microsoft Dynamics and Bluebeam experience preferred
• Strong commercial/industrial HVAC, plumbing, and/or piping trade knowledge
• Ability to climb and work in tight areas
