Job summary

Covestro South Deerfield is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to support manufacturing processes, execute capital and reliability projects, and enable safe, efficient production of thermoplastic polyurethane and polycarbonate films.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master\'s in Mechanical Engineering with relevant manufacturing experience. Strong safety leadership and cross-functional collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 6 years in a manufacturing or engineering environment, OR Master\'s degree with at least 2 years in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Preferred: CAD and SAP experience; familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
• Professional registrations or certifications are desirable.

• Lead mid-level safety-related projects and participate in site safety teams.
• Investigate and propose solutions for safety-related concerns.
• Manage site capital projects on time and within budget; participate in large site improvement projects.
