Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 6 years in manufacturing/engineering, or a Master's degree with at least 2 years in manufacturing/engineering.
• Thermoplastic film extrusion and web handling experience.
• CAD and SAP desirable; strong Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Integrates incident-free workplace culture into all activities.
• Manages mid-level safety projects and participates on site safety teams.
• Investigates safety concerns and proposes solutions.
• Leads small to medium capital projects on time and within budget.
• Provides engineering support to complex capital and continuous improvement projects.
• Updates SOPs and trains operators for capital project activities.
• Applies root cause analyses to equipment reliability issues.
• Supports production during startup of new equipment.
