Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience required.
• PE license preferred, or actively working toward licensure.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic models and project design.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement computer-based models for engineering solutions.
• Gather and analyze data to support model development.
• Document design progress and perform calculations.

Skills

Hydraulic modeling software proficiency

CAD tools (MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil 3D, etc.)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently

Familiarity with local agencies in Illinois

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
