Job summary

Vanderlande seeks a Mechanical Project Engineer I to support a major North American Parcel client program within the RMR team. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or ME Technology.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or 8 years with associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Translate drawings and specs into a mechanical system description for RfP development.
• Optimize design from concept to functioning system within budget with cross-disciplinary input.
• Develop 3D models and manage clash detection.
• Create 2D customer approval and installation layout drawings.
• Perform spatial analysis for clearance envelopes and forklift aisles.
• Document engineering decisions and provide site installation instructions.
• Travel to project sites up to 33% and support on-site activities.
