Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering design or project management experience.
• Knowledge of PMBOK or similar methodologies.
• Heavy industry hydraulics/pneumatics/material handling or thermal oil experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Inventor, SAP, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead project team in the development of a solution to a project request.
• Design solutions and produce drawings based on scope of work and end-user interaction.
• Formulate scope/specifications for purchase of capital and non-capital equipment and contract labor.
• Develop and utilize project risk management plans.
• Prepare appropriation requests for capital equipment purchases and major repairs.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors through standard purchasing procedures.
