Job summary

IMEG is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer in Ontario, CA to lead design efforts and manage projects of varying complexity. The role involves engineering analysis, design oversight, and coordination with a team of engineers and consultants to deliver practical solutions.

Responsibilities include leading HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection designs, client interaction, budgeting, and scheduling. A PE license and BS in Mechanical Engineering are required, with 2+ years in building design

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum 2 years (4 preferred) in building design consulting industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems using code-compliant designs.
• Coordinate with clients to gather requirements and communicate technical details clearly.
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and design progress.
