Job summary

D.B. International Sales & Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee installation projects on-site in San Juan. The role requires 1–3 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, with focus on HVAC equipment.

The engineer will coordinate with project management, monitor installations, and ensure proper documentation and reporting. Office-based with site visits, strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Preferably with at least a year of experience and background on HVAC equipment (i.e. Chillers, AHU, FCU, Compressors, etc).
• Proficiency in CAD software, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of thermodynamics.

Responsibilities

• Execute projects according to plan and cost efficiently.
• Coordinate with project management activities pertaining to installation.
• Monitor ongoing project installation and contractor’s activity.
• Ensure all project installations are executed and monitored properly.
• Prepare material requisitions needed for projects.
• Prepare weekly status reports on project progress.
