Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering OR 2-3 years of related experience in the Mechanical Industry.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of construction industry and contract documentation.
• Understanding of federal, state, and city regulations and guidelines.
• Experience performing construction and engineering calculations.
• Knowledge of estimating, construction costs, scheduling, purchasing, and engineering principals and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Define project scopes, site surveys, engineering calculations, and provide technical assistance through construction.
• Oversee and maintain an effective Quality Control system.
• Prepare submittal packages and manage flow of contractor-submittal data.
• Collaborate with Project Manager to ensure complete scope of work is defined.
• Maintain communication between office and job site regarding shop deliveries.
