Harder Mechanical Contractors is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer to plan, schedule, and execute project scopes while coordinating with field labor to ensure safety, schedule adherence, and quality. This role serves as the gateway to a project management career within a collaborative team environment.

You will review drawings, quantify scopes, resolve engineering constraints, monitor construction, and mentor new engineers, with opportunities to travel to other regions and participate in

Qualifications

• 3-10 years of construction management experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business Management, Mechanical, Industrial, Civil Engineering and/or equivalent experience or education.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute a defined project scope at Harder.
• Coordinate with field labor to ensure safety, schedule and quality.
• Serve as an entry point for a project management career at Harder.
• Review drawings and quantify project scope.
• Resolve issues with design engineers, owners, and team members.
• Monitor field construction for compliance with plans and specs.
• Prepare work packages with labor and cost estimates.
• Track progress and update status weekly.
• Organize project records and mentor new engineers.
• Assist the project manager with duties and future-work estimates.
