Placements24 is recruiting a proactive Mechanical Project Engineer to lead and execute mechanical engineering projects in Paarl, Western Cape. This role involves overseeing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will manage projects end-to-end, coordinating with design teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of project management experience in mechanical engineering.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and timelines.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and construction methods.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with MS Project or Primavera.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of mechanical engineering projects, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with design engineers to develop project specifications and ensure technical feasibility.
• Oversee procurement processes for mechanical equipment and materials, managing supplier relationships.
