Job summary

Qualifications

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally 10%-20%.

In this team-oriented and collaborative mechanical engineering role, you will play a key part in a project team and will engineer pressure vessels, perform code calculations and stress analysis, and assist with system commissioning.

Client Overview

  • Experience and ability to handle complete systems and turnkey installations with project scope ranging from process development, engineering studies, equipment supply and commissioning
Position Overview
  • Responsible for applying customer design specifications and in developing equipment standards
  • Help coordinate project design and direct drafting team members in developing general arrangements and outline drawings
  • Audit fabrication shops, review fabrication quotations and drawings, and inspect fabrication sites as needed
  • Prepare ASME code calculations and perform stress analysis
  • Participate in commissioning to ensure that system meets contract requirements
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical
  • 1-5 years experience with ASME section VIII code pressure vessel calculations ideally using Compress
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD
  • Proficiency using CEASAR for pipe stress analysis is a plus
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally 10%-20%
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional oriented setting
  • Strong interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills
