As Dewberry expands our service offering in Orlando, you will develop the next generation of highly skilled engineers working on challenging projects. This position is based in Dewberry’s Orlando, Florida office, which currently houses over 150 personnel providing transportation, water, land development, and architectural services.
From high-performance buildings and healthcare facilities to water and wastewater treatment systems, energy sustainability projects, and resilient microgrids, you’ll help deliver the innovative solutions that have made Dewberry a trusted partner for universities, healthcare systems, utilities, government agencies, and industrial clients nationwide.
As a Mechanical Discipline Manager, your primary responsibility will be to lead the design and specification of HVAC, central utility plant, thermal distribution, and other mechanical systems. You will provide oversight and technical guidance to design staff including junior engineers and designers. This position includes operational leadership of the mechanical team, including direct supervision of mechanical team members, project scope and fee development, labor scheduling and task assignment, and assisting recruiting staff in team development. The Discipline Manager will regularly interface with clients and will team with Dewberry management and marketing staff to develop and execute growth strategies.
