Job summary

Colonial Group’s Counce Mill is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to lead mechanical engineering projects and support the achievement of mill goals with a focus on safety and cost efficiency.

The role requires planning, coordinating, and directing projects, ensuring proper documentation and spare parts, and training staff. Collaboration with outside consultants is part of the job to drive mill improvements and maintain maintenance-friendly installations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience, preferably in the paper industry.
• Ability to plan, coordinate and direct mechanical engineering projects.
• Commitment to safety regulations and promoting safety in the workplace.
• Provide documentation and recommended spare parts.
• Training and mill improvements involvement.
• Ability to secure and direct outside consultants when required.

Position Requirements:
