Job summary

RMF Engineering, Inc. in Charlotte, North Carolina is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to lead HVAC, plumbing, and performance-based fire protection design for healthcare, higher education, municipal and public safety projects.

You will prepare specifications, perform code analyses, energy modeling, and oversee lab/medical gas systems, quality control, and peer reviews, while supporting LEED/Green Globes documentation. Occasional remote work is available with Wednesday telework.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering Degree from accredited college or university.
• 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office software.
• HVAC systems design experience.

The candidate shall have proven experience designing and leading the design of HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing systems in the healthcare, higher education, municipal, and/or public safety market sectors.
