Experience in mechanical inspections is crucial and must be maintained throughout employment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a GED equivalency diploma.
• Must hold the required licenses and/or certifications needed to be certified by BORA as a Mechanical Plans Examiner.
• Possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan reviews of buildings and structures according to the Florida Building Code.
• Conduct field inspections of mechanical components.
• Issue stop work orders when necessary.
