Job Title: Mechanical Planner – PRV Preventative Maintenance

Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Planner with strong experience in SAP and a focus on maintenance and preventative maintenance of Pressure Relief Valves (PRVs) to support a large construction project. The planner will be responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and tracking PRV inspection and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed maintenance and preventative maintenance plans for PRVs.
• Create, track, and close work orders in SAP (PM/MM modules).
• Build job packages including task lists, materials, spare parts, tools, permits, and manpower requirements.
• Coordinate PRV inspection, testing, repair, and recertification activities in line with API, ASME, and site standards.
• Maintain accurate records of PRV inspection and maintenance history in SAP.
• Work closely with mechanical supervisors, contractors, and operations to ensure timely execution of PRV maintenance.
• Align maintenance schedules with construction and commissioning activities to reduce downtime.
• Support troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and continuous improvement for valve reliability.
• Ensure compliance with site HSE policies and all regulatory codes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience as a Mechanical Planner, Maintenance Planner, or Reliability Planner in oil & gas, petrochemical, or construction environments.
• Proven hands-on experience with SAP (PM/MM) for maintenance planning.
• Strong knowledge of PRV/PSV inspection, testing, and certification requirements.
• Familiarity with API 576 (Inspection of PRVs) and related industry standards.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred

• Previous experience supporting construction, commissioning, or turnaround projects.
• Certification or specialized training in PRV/PSV maintenance or inspection.
