Job summary

Hargrove is seeking a Mechanical/Piping Designer in Port Arthur, TX to perform complete designs under supervision and assist with larger projects. This role emphasizes drafting, piping systems, and field validation to ensure design integrity and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of industrial experience in mechanical/piping drafting, proficiency with AutoCAD and Microstation, and the ability to produce accurate installation documents from vendor drawings.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical/piping drafting and design.
• Ability to draft P&ID's and GA's.
• Experience with piping supports and restraints.
• Familiarity with project scope, specs, and design criteria.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical/piping designs under supervision.
• Prepare material take-offs from piping drawings.
• Create installation documents from vendor drawings.
• Assist in field design and startup support.
• Ensure CAD standards are followed and design is aligned with project goals.
