Job summary

American Art Clay Company (AMACO) is seeking a hands-on Finishing Technician to set up and operate a paint booth, perform finishing work on mechanical products, and support light assembly tasks. You will prep components, maintain the booth, and follow BOMs and work instructions precisely in a hot production environment.

Responsibilities include lifting up to 70 lbs, wearing PPE, and collaborating with the Mechanical Supervisor and Crew Lead to meet safety, quality, and customer care standards.

Qualifications

• Reading and comprehension to interpret BOMs and work instructions accurately.
• Confident verbal and written communication; able to present to management.
• Safe, effective operation of all required equipment and material-handling tools.

While on the job, you’ll regularly talk or hear; frequently stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms; and occasionally sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. You’ll frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
