S.A. Comunale is seeking a Mechanical Metal Trades role in Barberton, OH. The position involves handling materials, welding assemblies, and operating a plasma cutter while supporting yard operations.

You will load/unload trucks, drive a forklift, and operate a yard crane under the Mechanical Fabrication Manager. Expect a strong mechanical background and safety-focused teamwork.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year welding experience required.
• Strong mechanical background required.
• Valid driving license with clean driving record is required.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds is required.
• Experience with basic computer systems, specifically Microsoft Office, is a plus.

Job Summary

Job Title: Mechanical Metal Trades

The primary function of this role is to handle material, weld assemblies and operate a plasma cutter. In addition to loading and unloading trucks, driving a forklift and operator a yard crane. This role reports directly to the Mechanical Fabrication Manager.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Handling material such as cutting/punching angle iron.

• Operating a plasma cutter.
• Loading and unloading trucks, driving a forklift and operating a yard crane.
