Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer to support mechanical assembly and test operations, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence in Houston. The role emphasizes process development, tooling, and supplier collaboration to meet safety and quality standards.

You will apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies while partnering with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations to deliver robust production methods and efficient manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing engineering, production engineering, or continuous improvement.
• Experience with machining, assembly, testing, fabrication, and inspection.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to manufacturing operations including machining, assembly, testing, inspection and troubleshooting.
• Lead root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions for non-conforming materials and products.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce costs, improve quality, increase throughput and reduce lead times.
