Job summary

The Mechanical Maintenance Technician at Hanwha Q CELLS in Cartersville, GA will be a key member of the Utilities Team. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair plant Utility and Water Treatment mechanical systems including PCW, CHW, HVAC, CDA, cooling towers, pumps, valves, piping, and instrumentation.

This role supports safe, efficient production by carrying out mechanical PMs, responding to alarms, logging maintenance activities, and assisting Utilities and Water

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Solid mechanical knowledge to perform PMs, troubleshooting, and repairs on Utilities and Water Treatment systems.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, I&C diagrams, blueprints, and piping flow paths.
• Experience with HMI systems, alarms, and controls.
• Proficiency with basic MS Windows applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on Utility and Water Treatment equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Inspect and test systems including PCW, CHW, CDA, HVAC, cooling towers, and related components.
• Respond to alarms and system malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, valves, gauges, motors, and piping.
• Document maintenance actions, logs, and equipment status updates.
• Assist Utilities and Water Treatment Technicians and operate HMIs as needed.
• Support safety procedures, 5S cleanliness, and environmental regulations.
