Job summary

Minth North America, Inc. in Gadsden, AL seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform daily inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs on production equipment. You will document root causes, repair plans, and parts replacements, and participate in installation and commissioning of new lines.

The role requires 3+ years of mechanical maintenance with hydraulic/pneumatic systems familiarity; sheet metal/welding/stamping equipment experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical equipment maintenance experience.
• Familiar with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Capable of diagnosing and resolving common mechanical faults.
• Mechatronics or mechanical engineering preferred; vocational training also acceptable.
• Relevant certifications (fitter certificate, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections, scheduled maintenance, and preventive maintenance of production equipment and fixtures.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns; diagnose and repair mechanical faults (hydraulic, pneumatic, transmission, etc.).
• Establish and maintain equipment maintenance records, documenting root causes, repair plans, and replaced parts.
• Participate in installation, commissioning, and acceptance of new equipment.
• Propose equipment improvement suggestions to enhance reliability and reduce downtime.
• Manage spare parts inventory and submit replenishment requests as needed.
